Myths of Waterbased Ink

Waterbased inks are very famous these days. Either, we have to print on textile, shoes, silicone base or we have the use it in scratch off printing they serve as a great alternative to other plastisol inks. Still, after getting so many benefits of these Inks, It is shame to know that these water-based inks of today have far fewer myths in people's minds.

Let’s come directly to those myths that people have:

They are complicated and unpredictable

No, never! Textile Printing Ink is very soft in hand that allows its user to use them without any worry or stress. The best part of these Water-based inks is that they give you an outstanding result without any spill of colors and doesn’t require any special maintenance.

You don’t have control over water-based colors

This will give you the ability to control your colors and ink mixtures. You can mix the full range of colors and even allow you to use each pigment as an additive to use in special effects bases, such as metallic, Silicone Transfer Printing Inkreflective, and discharge inks.

Not good for the environment

Our government is also putting strict efforts into making an Eco-friendly world. Therefore, following the same water-based inks allow printers to do their part. They are completely free of PVC resin, harmful ozone-depleting chemicals, plasticizers, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Moreover, they are completely recyclable.

You Need to Spend Enough of Your Investments

Although, these are water-soluble colors that just need one-time investment with long-run results. The best part is that they can be recycled again and can’t create any wastage. So, they are not costlier and can print your lot of projects.

It is difficult to print because it dries on the screen during longer print runs

Water-based inks have a lower viscosity than plastisol inks so that they soak effectively into your fabric of choice and also dry out while in the screens due to evaporation.
